The FLL has at present more than 40 committees composed of specialists in various disciplines, whose work function draws upon all interested parties (including an ongoing professional collaboration between all 40 committees) as well as the organizations which sponsor landscaping, landscape companies producing relevant materials and plants, landscape architects, scientists and other expert sources as needed. The results of their research and synthesis are constantly updated and promulgated utilizing the same principles which govern the compilation of DIN standards and are published as either guiding principles or labour instructions.
